About Us

As a designated Regional Training Centre, we partner with the Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management (OFMEM) and the Ontario Fire College (OFC) to deliver top-notch OFC programs through our Adjunct Instructor designation. The Mississippi Mills Regional Training Centre is committed to providing training that meets and exceeds the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) job performance requirements. Our certification training, skills, and tactics are taught by highly trained instructors from across the region. Our standards-based programs include Pro-Board and IFSAC certification testing and skills evaluation, delivered through the OFMEM's Academic Standards and Evaluations (AS&E) unit upon program completion.

Fire Ground Rental, Full Day Included: Burn Cans RIT/SCBA Confidence Trailer Fire Extinguisher Prop/Propane Prop Classroom	$500 per day
Fire Ground Rental, Half Day (classroom included) Included: Burn Cans RIT/SCBA Confidence Trailer Fire Extinguisher Prop/Propane Prop Classroom	$250 for a maximum of 4 hours
RIT/SCBA Confidence Trailer ONLY (includes one instructor)	$150 flat rate, plus instructor hourly rate
Fire Extinguisher Prop/Propane Prop (off site)	$75 per hour off site (instructor included), minimum two-hour booking
Fire Extinguisher Prop/Propane Prop	$100 per day plus instructor fees
Vertical Ventilation Prop	Additional Material Fees
Auto Extrication Vehicle	Provided at market value
Pumper/Tanker	$150 per day/per unit, plus $27 per hour for pump operator
Lead Instructor Rate	$32 per hour
Instructor/Ignition Officer Rate	$30 per hour
ISO Rate	$32 per hour
Pump Operator	$27 per hour
Catered buffet lunch/coffee/morning snack	$20 per student, plus instructors
Classroom rental (classroom only)	$75 per day
*REQUIRED*: Minimum of 1 Mississippi Mills RTC Instructor per Fire Ground Rental and 1 ISO per Fire Ground Rental. If the renter provides their own ISO for the rental, proof of certification must be submitted upon contract signing. Additionally, a training safety plan must be submitted with the rental contract.
