The focus in August is soft implementation of the collection driver tagging and leaving non-recyclables (ie: bagged recycling (ONLY shredded paper is allowed in clear plastic bags), children's toys, dishware, flower pots, etc.). In accordance with By-Law #14-33, the Municipality is reverting back to 1 bag/container of garbage per household, additional bags/containers require a tag. Effective today at 1:30 pm, the Municipality of Mississippi Mills terminated the Declared State of Emergency.
