Notice of Public Meeting - Proposed Amendment to the Zoning By-Law - Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 6:00 pm in the Mississippi Mills Council Chambers, 3131 Old Perth Road

TAKE NOTICE that a Public Meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 6:00 p.m., in the Municipality of Mississippi Mills Council Chambers, 3131 Old Perth Road, Almonte, Ontario, to consider a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.13.

The Zoning By-law Amendment application concerns the property municipally known as 2380 Ramsay Concession 7B and legally described as Lot 22, Concession 7B, Ramsay Ward, Municipality of Mississippi Mills.

THE PURPOSE AND INTENT of the Zoning By-law Amendment is to change the zoning from Agriculture (A) to Agriculture Exception X (A-X) to fulfil a condition for the severance of surplus farm-dwelling property (application B18/068). As per the Community Official Plan, the rezoned property – vacant agricultural land – would not be permitted to construct a new residential dwelling.
