Collection Licenses
Class 1 - Step 1 $26.49 – Step 5 $29.71 OIT – Step 1 $25.49 – Step 5 $28.71


Water Operator duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Performing regular maintenance and repairs as required to the storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water system
  • Participates in the on-call rotations outside normal operating hours -overtime/weekend work will be required
  • Performs winter maintenance on the road system
  • Performs maintenance of roadside and other Municipal owned property
  • Perform general labour duties


  • Minimum of three years relevant experience to key responsibilities
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Minimum OIT Water Distribution & Supply System License – must obtain Class 1 within 12 months
  • Minimum OIT Wastewater Collection License – must obtain Class 1 within 12 months
  • Good oral communication skills
  • Good public relations skills
  • Valid DZ license (preferred)
