The Mississippi Mills Building and Planning Departments will be moving to Almonte Old Town Hall, located at 14 Bridge st., the week of May 24th. This move is to use existing municipally-owned and available space for the growing municipality.
If you need to drop off any documents relating to building permits or planning applications, you may still drop them off to the municipal building located at 3131 Old Perth Rd until May 27th. Starting on May 30th all planning or building related documents should be dropped off at Almonte Old Town Hall to ensure that Building and Planning staff receive them without delay. During our move municipal staff will still be available to members of the public, however, our response times may be delayed as we get set up in our new space. Thank you in advance for your patience.
Please also note, that parking in the Almonte Old Town Hall parking lot will be limited. There is additional free parking available on Reserve St. and 4-hour parking along Bridge St.
