The Almonte Christmas Night Parade has a NEW route for 2023!
The parade will start at the Almonte Civitan Club (500 Almonte St.) and will end at the John Levi Community Centre (182 Bridge St.)
The parade will leave Almonte Civitan Club at 5:00PM sharp, with the help of the OPP it will cross Highway 29 and travel down Almonte Street. Next it will make a right turn on Mill Street, travel through downtown (you can get some of the best vantage points here!) and make another right on Bridge Street, ending at the John Levi Community Centre.
Both facilities will be open for parade participants to keep warm while they wait.
Almonte Lions Club will be serving FREE hot dogs and hot chocolate in the upper hall following the parade!
The Almonte Scouts will be collecting food donations throughout the route.
FREE public skating following the parade!
RULES:
- Absolutely not throwing candy (or anything) from floats
- Walking entries should be careful to distance from the spectators
- Christmas Music is strongly encouraged
- Remember to light your float well
