Celebrating may look a little different this year but the Christmas spirit is alive and well in in Mississippi Mills.

To keep everyone safe and healthy into 2021 we have made the difficult decision to cancel Light Up the Night and our traditional Santa Claus Parades. But it’s not all bad news. We have some great new traditions that we’re sure people will get excited about.

A Council meeting will be held on Tuesday November 17, 2020 at 6:00 pm with Committee of the Whole meeting following immediately after.

2021 Budget - Reserves

The holidays represent a good way to demonstrate why it is important to have savings or reserves.  During this festive time, we can over-extend our pocketbook and we are left with some hefty year-end debt to usher us into the New Year. Unless, of course, you saved an appropriate amount of money in anticipation of your annual holiday shopping.

Today's your last day to complete the 2021 Budget Survey!

As part of the public consultation piece for the 2021 budget, the Municipality has put together a budget survey for residents to participate in. 

The results from the survey will help to identify priority areas for residents and how you'd like to see user fees and tax dollars spent.
