Mississippi Mills to install Progress Pride Crosswalks in Three Wards

In celebration of Pride Month, Mississippi Mills Council voted to install Progress Pride crosswalks in three locations across the Municipality.

At their May 18th meeting Council passed a motion declaring June as Pride Month to support inclusion awareness and the two-spirited, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (2SLGBTQ+) communities in Mississippi Mills. The Carleton Place & District Chamber of Commerce along with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Ontario and Federal Government to provide Covid Rapid Antigen Test Kits to businesses across the province who wish to test employees in the workplace. 

The COVID-19 Rapid Screening Initiative will provide free rapid antigen tests for employees of small and medium-sized businesses (SME's). The goal of the program is to identify asymptomatic cases of COVID-19 in the workplace...
