Flags at all municipal locations will be lowered to half mast in recognition of Indigenous Veterans Day - a day to recognize and acknowledge the many contributions and sacrifices of Aboriginals not only to Canada's war efforts but to its peacekeeping reputation.

Update - Before and After School Programs to Resume

With the repeal of Bill 28, negotiations between CUPE and the Province will reconvene. Support workers will be heading back to the classroom tomorrow (Tuesday, November 8th ). As such, Mississippi Mills Daycare Services will once again be offering care in all Before and After School Programs. A notice has been sent to parents and guardians. 

Potential Before/After Closure Due to CUPE Strike

As a result of the pending CUPE strike, both the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario and the Upper Canada District School Board have stated that schools will close if a resolution is not met today. 

This will impact the Mississippi Mills Childcare Services before and after school programs. A letter has been sent to parents and guardians to inform them of this matter. We will provide updates on our website and Facebook page as we continue to learn more.
