Public Notice of Intention to Pass By-law – Development Charges

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Mississippi Mills intends to pass proposed Development Charges by-laws and the underlying 2023 Development Charges Background Study.

Council will consider these by-laws at its regular meeting on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers (3131 Old Perth Road, Almonte).

After more than 35 years at the Library, Monica Blackburn is choosing to devote her time to gardening, traveling, creating elaborate meals and spending time with friends and family.

The library will host a retirement party for Monica on Wednesday, December 6 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Almonte Branch.

This Sunday, December 3 – the Almonte Christmas Night Parade will start at the Almonte Civitan Club (500 Almonte St.) and will end at the John Levi Community Centre (182 Bridge St.) Both facilities will be open for parade participants to keep warm while they wait.
