The Town wishes to extend an invitation to all encouraging the purchase of these effective recycling products.

We hope to work cooperatively with our citizens in our environmental initiatives through the use of these items in conservation and proper recycling and waste disposal practice. Cotton shopping bags are still available for $3.50 each at the Municipal Office.

The Waste Diversion Sub-Committee wishes to promote the use of reusable bags, for groceries and other goods, in order to reduce the number of non-biodegradable plastic bags that pollute our environment and take up valuable space in the landfill site.

Patrice's Independent Grocer is also offering plastic grocery bins for sale in their store to help reduce the number of plastic bags that are diverted in the landfill. Please ask at the store for further details.

KITCHEN COMPOST CARRIERS
Kitchen Compost Carriers are available at the Municipal Office for a cost of $7.00(plus HST) each.

Black earth machines (outside composters) can be purchased at the Municipal Office for $29.50(plus HST) each.
