There is an annual Spring and Fall curbside leaf collection.

Sections where leaf and yard waste can be put out during collection days (watch the website for exact dates) are Town of Almonte, Villages of Pakenham, Blakeney, Clayton and Appleton. Leaves can be taken free of charge to the landfill site on Howie Road on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Wednesdays (from April to October) from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Mr. Al Potvin,ﾠ38 Carss Street in Almonte has created a compost pile for leaves. He does not pick up but you may drop your leaves off. Leaves must be free of debris and emptied from bags.
