Expected Construction Start Date: May 2010 Expected Construction Completion Date: Summer 2010 Details As part of the 2010 Capital Works program, the Town of Mississippi Mills has scheduled the reconstruction of Spring Street including some water service lateral transfers (south of St. Paul). Spring Street has deteriorated to a point that roadway reconstruction and rehabilitation is necessary. At least one traffic lane will be maintained during the construction period including property access. Public Information Open House Detailed design for this project is well underway. The Town of Mississippi Mills will be hosting a Public Information Open House to allow area residents to view the design drawings. This Open House will take place on: Date: Thursday, March 11, 2010 Time: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Location: Almonte Old Town Hall, 14 Bridge Street, Almonte, ON Additional notices will be delivered after the tender has been awarded, that will provide an outline of the proposed construction schedule and the contact person for the contractor that was awarded the work. Advance notice will also be provided to any dwellings that may have temporary water service interruptions. Any Questions?
