Friday 29th

4 to 6:00 pm Pre-Teen Dance - at the Pakenham Public School Gym.

5 to 7:00 pm Spaghetti Supper Stewart Community Centre Upper Hall. Adults: $10, Children 12 and under: $5 7:00 pm 7:00 pm Curling Fun, Curling Club

Official Opening of the Festival with Donna & Prescott Pierce.

6:30-7:30 pm Public Skate, Costumes & Races., Arena Ice Surface. Everyone welcome!

8 pm Jr B Hockey Game (AlmonteThunder vs Perth Blue Wings). Our Community Choir kicks off the game by singing O Canada. Tickets at thedoor or from CivitanClub members. Pub to follow at the Curling Club.

January 30th -

7:00 to 11:00 am: Shanty Breakfast, Upper Hall. Enjoy the music of the Fiddling Fireman Randy Foster along with Geoff Horrocks. 9:00 am: Sno-Rally. Register at the Fire Hall. Info: 624-5621 (Brian Syme) 1:00 to 2:00 pm: Kiddyjack Contest next to the outdoor rink. Lots of fun for all kids while the adults get ready for the Lumberjack Contest. 1:00 to3:00 pm: Sleigh Rides around Fred Millar Park. 2:00 pm: Lumberjack Contest. Register your team by calling 256-5588(Paul Gilmour). Winners announced afterwards in the Upper Hall. 2:00 pm: Warm-Up Bavarian Gardens, Upper Hall.

Frost Festival Pub Doors open at 7:00 pm. Music at 8:00 pm with Bernie, Chris & Mike Ryan, Duke Wright and Special Guest: Wayne Rostad. Auction with John O’Neill. Tickets are limited for this sell-out night so pick yours up early. $10 in advance at Nicholson’s Sundries or $12 at the door. Call 624-5505 for ticket availability.

January 31st

10:30 am: Ecumenical Service, St. Mark’s Anglican Church. Lunch to follow. 12 Noon: Family Sledding Party at the Pakenham Highlands Golf Course. 1:00 pm: Shinny Hockey Tourney on the Outdoor Rink. Register a team by calling 256-2641(John Stewart). Hot dogs, friendly competition and lots of fresh air for everyone!
