Candidate Information


The nomination period for the 2014 Municipal Election starts 8:30 a.m. on Monday, January 6, 2014 and will close at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2014.

Nominations must be filed in person by the candidate or by their agent.  They cannot be mailed, e-mailed or faxed.  Please note that you will be required to provide an original copy of identification showing your name, qualifying address and signature (e.g. driver's licence).

When filing your nomination papers, please ensure you have the following items ready:

1.  Nomination Paper

2.  Declaration of Qualifications (Council)

3.  Freedom of Information Release

4.  Driver's Licence (or other valid piece of ID)
