When should I use 9-1-1?
The OPP have advised that individuals should call 9-1-1 when there is an incident that requires the attendance of a police officer i.e. at a traffic accident, a crime in progress or after the fact, if you see a suspicious vehicle, etc. It is NOT only to be used for life threatening emergencies.
