Puppets Up! International Festival August 7-8

This renowned family oriented international puppet festival returns to downtown Mill Street, Almonte.

      The Puppets Up! International Puppet Festival is a high quality international event that celebrates the art of puppetry - a folk art found in every country of the world that speaks to the young and old alike. On the weekend of August 7 & 8, 2010, the puppets will be at it again, entertaining visitors to Almonte (part of the Town of Mississippi Mills), Ontario, with ten professional puppet troupes, and one amateur children’s group. During the two-day festival over 60 shows will be performed in tented theatres along the banks of the Mississippi River.
